Alvarado Tags Intimidators for 5 Hits
It seemed <Flushing  Falcons:team#97> third baseman <Tony Alvarado:player#11176> could do no wrong, but it still didn't come out right.

The Falcons fell against the <Kannapolis  Intimidators:team#94> by the score of 19-17. Alvarado did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Kannapolis  prevailed at Ocelots Ballpark. 

"I felt real good, but my best just wasn't enough," Alvarado said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." 

<Tony Alvarado:player#11176> singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off <Keith Banks:player#16521> in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off <Nelson Moya:player#17198> in the 9th.

Thus far this year, Alvarado is hitting .349 with 3 home runs, 30 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
