Iowa center fielder Larry MacIntosh was sensational. He was 3-5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ozark beat the Crop Circles, 6-5. Juan Jose Santana notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Ricardo Pérez, who finished 4th in the AP in saves with 34 last year, nailed down the save.

In the bottom of the third inning of a 3-3 tie, Ozark left fielder Sean Gregory reached on an error by the 2B, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Ozark on top, 4-3.

"We ground out the win," said Gregory. "That's all that matters."

With the victory, the Outlaws upped their record to 20-14.
