Monuments Pick Up 9-7 Win Against Crab Apple Cove
A 4-RBI performance from Joel Sherman, who is tied for 9th in the AP in home runs with 7, helped the Washington Monuments beat the Crab Apple Cove Mashers, 9-7. Washington pitcher Glenn León got the win. He's now 4-2. Kevin Underwood was tagged with the loss. The win lifted the Washington record to 24-11.

Milo Baker, who finished 4th in the AP in doubles with 48 in 2072, helped out the Washington cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the left fielder was 1-5. He scored 2 runs.
