West Island 7-3 Losers to Border Jumpers

Thanks in large part to designated hitter Bryan Hunt, the Laredo Border Jumpers beat the West Island Storm, 7-3. Hunt was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The last-place Storm have dropped 4 straight games.
Laredo took a 6-1 lead on Hunt's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Paul Garza in the top of the seventh, propelled Laredo to the win.
"If you don't take any pitches off, you've got a chance to impact the game, and that's what we did," said Laredo skipper Kelly Mo.
