John Allain never let Mexico City get something going. The Death Valley left-hander commanded his circle change in pitching the Burn to a 3-1 win. Brandon Holcomb earned the save for Death Valley, his 10th. The Burn improved their record to 18-17 by beating Mexico City.
Allain allowed 1 run over 8 innings. He also racked up 11 strikeouts.
