Coyotes Net 5-1 Win Over Chicken Haulers
|
Keg Creek Coyotes starter John Johns found his groove in his team's 5-1 win over the Amarillo Chicken Haulers. The winner was Johns. He threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Alfredo Villarreal. Keg Creek now sits at 21-15, while Amarillo falls to 17-21.
Keg Creek won the game in part because of Tony Hsi. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Coyotes ahead, 5-1. For the game, Hsi had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Keg Creek manager James DaBears.
