The Reading Railbirds could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Adrián Jiménez into a win. Instead, the Crab Apple Cove Mashers prevailed, 4-2, in 10 innings. Jiménez threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Jeff Poe earned the save for Crab Apple Cove, his 8th. The victory puts Crab Apple Cove at 16-23.

Crab Apple Cove used a timely hit from Ryan White to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Mashers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said White.
