Cristián Estrada pitched well, but the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates still lost the game, falling, 2-0, to the Alcatraz Island Jail Break at Liquor Luge. Jack Dixon picked up the win in relief. Cristián Estrada took the loss for Glacier Bay. The win elevated the Jail Break to 23-16.
Adam Wilcox, who is tied for 3rd in the FR in RBI with 30, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wilcox contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Alcatraz Island up, 1-0.
"We take it day by day here," said Wilcox, "and today was a good one for us."
