The Amarillo Chicken Haulers and West Island Storm played an exciting game.

The Amarillo Chicken Haulers topped the West Island Storm by the score of 4-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Mark Campbell. Campbell went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Chicken Haulers on the day. Chris Simpson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Lee Costa was tagged with the loss.

Campbell brought the fans to their feet in the bottom of the seventh, when the 26-year old left fielder ripped a 3-run home run. The round-tripper put Amarillo ahead, 4-3.

"There's never a lack of effort in our clubhouse. We're willing to do the little things to get the win," Campbell told the Amarillo Daily.

Today's win puts Amarillo at 35-38, while West Island falls to 38-34.
