Slumping Crop Circles Lose 7th Straight
The Iowa Crop Circles could not turn a fine performance from center fielder Larry MacIntosh into a win. Instead, the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates prevailed, 7-6. MacIntosh was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Iowa now owns a losing streak of 7 games.

Glacier Bay got a clutch hit from Leon Boyce. The second baseman launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This place sure got loud," said Matt Lehrer, the Glacier Bay manager.
