The Reading Railbirds had to weather a strong performance from St. Paul pitcher Roberto García before claiming a 1-0 win in 11 innings. García went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs. St. Paul drops to 6-3.

Dave Rouse provided a timely hit. The Reading first baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the 11th inning to put the Railbirds on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"Both teams played hard," said Reading manager Slam Dunks.
