Reading Railbirds starter Daniel Sims turned in an exceptional performance against the Havana Comrades at The Ballpark at Habanos Stadium, resulting in a Reading win, 4-2. Getting the save was Adrián Jiménez, his 7th. Reading occupies third place in the Frontier Northern at 39-34.

Richard Elmore, the 27-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Elmore contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put Reading up, 3-0.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Sims.
