Orlando and Ozark got after it at Krono Field.
The Orlando Rum Runners grabbed a win, 10-5, over the Ozark Outlaws at Krono Field. Orlando designated hitter Mike Allen was 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Orlando pitcher José Cuin got the win, upping his record to 8-5. Luke Anderson got the loss.
With Orlando leading 7-4 in the bottom of the eighth, Allen hit a cutter from Tomás Leyra for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Rum Runners ahead, 10-4.
"We maximized our offense today," said Orlando skipper . "That makes everyone's life easier."
The Rum Runners, at 36-40, inhabit third place in the Appalachian Southern.
