3-2 Win Takes Ravens to 39-37
The Richmond Ravens eked out a 3-2 win versus the Orlando Rum Runners at Krono Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Jesse Parker. He was terrific. Parker yielded 1 run over 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 4, and struck out 8. His record improves to 2-5. Earning his 16th save of the year was Dewitt Boyle.

Adam Wood, who is tied for 8th in the AP in triples with 4, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wood contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Richmond up, 3-1.

"Nice win for us," said Wood. "Now we'll go after the next one."

With the win, the Ravens hiked their record to 39-37.
