Earl Stewart, who is rated as the 43rd best prospect by BNN, never let the High Tide get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Outlaws to a win, 4-1. Stewart picked up the win for Ozark, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. Ozark is 4th in the Appalachian Southern with a record of 36-41.

Trevor Lee had a big 2-run home run for the Outlaws in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Ozark leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Júlio Sepúlveda, who led the AP in wins with 20 last year, and punished it. The result was his 19th home run of the season, which put the Outlaws on top, 4-1.
