Coyotes Deal Militia 8-3 Defeat
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Keg Creek Coyotes and Michigan Militia.
Getting a good performance from shortstop Reginald Hall, the Keg Creek Coyotes defeated the Michigan Militia, 8-3. Hall went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Coyotes. Keg Creek, at 50-29, is 12½ games up in the Appalachian Northern.
Hall contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Keg Creek in the top of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Hall took a changeup from Tim Hunt and stroked the home run to left. His 19th home run of the season allowed the Coyotes to leap in front, 3-2.
Hall attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
