The home crowd had a good time watching the Orlando Rum Runners and Cape Canaveral Launch get after it.

Getting an impressive start from Jon Gilmore, Cape Canaveral beat Orlando by the score of 10-0. With the win, Cape Canaveral upped its record to 43-35.

Miguel Morales had a big grand slam home run for the Launch in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Cape Canaveral leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a curveball from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Ted Stevens and punished it. The result was his 15th home run of the season, which put the Launch on top, 7-0.

"Glad to get this win," said Gilmore. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."
