Bearers Get One-Run Win at Boston
|
Behind an impressive start by Kenny Hecker, St. Paul beat Boston, 3-2. The save went to Hoa Trung, his 18th this season. The last-place Bearers go to 35-45.
Matt Miller, the two-time All-Star , had a direct impact on the outcome. Miller contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put St. Paul up, 3-0.
"I like to lead by example," said Hecker. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
