The Richmond Ravens topped the West Island Storm, 7-2, in Appalachian action at Hot Box. The game was highlighted by the performance of Richmond pitcher Stephen Dundee. The winner was Dundee. He threw 7.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Ben Bradley. Richmond raised its record to 46-34 with the win.

Luis Cortés had a big 2-run triple for the Ravens in the top of the fourth inning. With Richmond leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Ben Bradley and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 7th triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ravens ahead, 3-0.

"Winning never gets dull," said Cortés.
