Crab Apple Cove Drops Another One, 5-2
The Philadelphia Cheesesteaks got a good effort from starter Ken Barnett in defeating the Crab Apple Cove Mashers at William Penn Park. The final score was 5-2. Leonard Johnston, who finished 3rd in the FR in wins with 16 last year, nailed down the save. The losses continue to add up for Crab Apple Cove, having now dropped 9 straight.

Stephen Lowe had a big bases-clearing triple for the Cheesesteaks in the bottom of the third inning. With Philadelphia leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a sinker from 34-year old right-handed pitcher Elijah Stubbs and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cheesesteaks ahead, 4-0.

"Ken is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Philadelphia manager Joey Santangelo.
