Gilmore Now 6-8 After Subduing Rum Runners
The Atlantic City Aces picked up a win at Krono Field, knocking off the Orlando Rum Runners, 6-0. On the mound for Atlantic City was right-hander Jon Gilmore, who played a pivotal role in the win. The Aces raised their record to 37-42.

Gilmore gave Atlantic City a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings.

"I had a good game plan," said Gilmore. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," Chris Stephan said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
