Flint Rips 2 Home Runs in 5-1 Jail Break Triumph
|
The Alcatraz Island Jail Break stymied the San Jose Cuervo, 5-1, at The Rock. Ryan Flint had a good day at the plate. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Alcatraz Island. Cecil Ellis wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. Alcatraz Island sits in last place in the Frontier Coastal at 37-43.
Alcatraz Island took a 3-1 lead on Flint's 8th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Rafael Francisco in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Alcatraz Island to the win.
Alcatraz Island manager Justin Fusco called it "a darn good win."
