Late Magic Gets Keg Creek 6-3 Win
José Velásquez made an impact in the 6-3 Keg Creek win over Washington. Velásquez, who finished 4th in the AP in slugging percentage with .600 in 2063, went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jack Bates recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 21 for 28. The win gives Keg Creek a season record of 45-39.

Velásquez had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch cutter from Matt Burkett, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Coyotes a 5-3 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Velásquez.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Velásquez. "And not try to do too much."
