Crop Circles Rally to Win
The Iowa Crop Circles racked up a win at Schuylkill Landing Park, bumping off the Reading Railbirds, 5-4, in 10 innings. Fernando Farías, who started for Iowa, pitched effectively for his team. Iowa reliever James Stephens picked up the win, raising his record to 4-4. Ed Leibnitz was tagged with the loss. The Crop Circles raised their record to 36-54.

Melvin Gregory came through with a big-time hit for Iowa. The shortstop smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I was a little disappointed," said Reading manager Slam Dunks. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
