With center fielder Larry MacIntosh leading the charge, the Iowa Crop Circles defeated the San Jose Cuervo, 8-4, at The Cornfield. MacIntosh, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2070 draft, was 2 for 2 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. The win puts Iowa at 33-57.

Júlio Fernández, who is tied for 10th in the FR in stolen bases with 17, helped out the Iowa cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Fernández said after the game.
