Militia Lose to High Tide in Walk-Off
The Honolulu High Tide, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Champagne of Beers Field.

Michigan got a valiant performance from pitcher John Johns, but it wasn't enough to beat the Honolulu High Tide. Honolulu won the game, 4-3. Johns threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. The first-place Militia now sit at 54-36.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nick Pierce in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 32-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Kennedy to win the game for Honolulu. The home crowd went nuts.

Said Pierce: "What's not to like about a walk-off win?"
