Yao-qing Moy was instrumental in his team's 6-4 triumph over the West Island Storm. The left fielder was 4 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times for the Atlantic City Aces. Joaquín Moreno got the save, his 31st in 32 chances. With the victory, the Aces upped their record to 53-35.
Atlantic City used a clutch at-bat from Tetsui Matsuura to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Matsuura told the Atlantic City Times.
