The Reading Railbirds racked up a win at Schuylkill Landing Park, bumping off the Crab Apple Cove Mashers, 4-0. Dax McKames, who started for Reading, pitched effectively for his team. The winner was McKames. He threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Kevin Underwood. Stan Webb was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities.
