Lefty Ageda Leads Vermont to 6-0 Win
|
Vermont Lake Monsters starter Shojiro Ageda was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Ozark Outlaws, 6-0. With the win, Vermont elevates its record to 5-4.
Ageda, who was born in Nagoya, Japan, threw 112 pitches over 8.2 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Vermont manager Kevin Tucker.
