Starting pitcher Jon Gilmore was a major factor in the 1-0 Cape Canaveral Launch triumph over the Orlando Rum Runners. The third-place Launch now have a record of 41-49.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Cape Canaveral designated hitter Jeremy Watson, facing Marvin Cox, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Launch the 1-0 win.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Watson.
