Cheesesteaks Deal Ridge Raptors 3-2 Loss
|
The Philadelphia Cheesesteaks picked up a win at The Raptor's Nest, dropping the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 3-2. Tim Bradford, the 13th overall pick in the 2073 draft, was the difference-maker. John Hébert earned the save, his 2nd. The win brings the Cheesesteaks to 7-4, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
Francis Joseph, who led the FR in home runs with 40 last year, had a direct impact on the outcome. Joseph contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put Philadelphia up, 3-0.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Bradford.
