Ridge Raptors Take Down Cheesesteaks, 2-1
|
Redstone right-hander Leonard Johnston helped his team edge Philadelphia by the score of 2-1. Johnston kept the opposing lineup in check. The Ridge Raptors, now 6-3, have been playing some good baseball.
Redstone got a knockout punch from Dale Pérez. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"This wasn't a good win," said Pérez. "It was a great win."
