Railbirds Squelch Ice Pirates Offense in Shutout Win
The Reading Railbirds picked up a win at Schuylkill Landing Park, knocking off the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, 6-0. Starting pitcher Juan Gallardo was a big reason why. Gallardo, now 6-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 9, walking 4, and allowing no runs. With the victory, the Railbirds upped their record to 52-42.
