Sánchez Hits 2 home runs in Comrades Win
Led by Mario Sánchez, the Havana Comrades downed the Reading Railbirds, 11-4. Sánchez went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 and driving in 3 for the Comrades. The victory gives the Comrades a record of 46-46.

The Railbirds had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Comrades going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 33-year old left fielder Dave Erwin came to the plate. Erwin hit a 2-run home run on a 0-1 changeup from Reading hurler Connor Kelloway. It was Erwin's 10th home run of the year.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Reading manager Slam Dunks.
