High Tide Lose to Chicken Haulers, 10-6
|
Despite a fine performance by third baseman Jaime Indacochea, the Honolulu High Tide lost to the Amarillo Chicken Haulers, 10-6. Indacochea went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. With the win, the Chicken Haulers improved to 46-50.
Grant Stout had a big solo home run for the Chicken Haulers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Amarillo leading 4-3 and the bases empty, he sized up a changeup from Dan Hanna, who is tied for 4th in the AP with a 10.5 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Chicken Haulers on top, 5-3.
"Feels good to get the job done," Stout said after the game.
