The Redstone Ridge Raptors faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Martin Wilson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Jackie Robinson Place by a final score of 7-4. Wilson went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. David Flint recorded the save, making him 27 for 30. Redstone leads the Frontier Southern by 11½ games.

Redstone catcher David Wilkerson contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a sinker to right-center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 49th hit of the season and put the Ridge Raptors ahead, 6-4.

"It never gets old," said Wilkerson. "Winning, that is."
