The Death Valley Burn beat the Reading Railbirds by a score of 9-6. Death Valley shortstop Benjamin Hartley deserved the lion's share of the credit. Hartley was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Burn. John Gates was credited with the save, his 29th in 30 tries.
