Revolution Suffer One-Run Loss at Alcatraz Island
|
Alcatraz Island beat Boston on the strength of starting pitcher Arthur Peet's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. With the win, Alcatraz Island goes to 42-55, while the Revolution fall to 44-56.
Leonardo Pagán had a big solo home run for the Jail Break in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Alcatraz Island leading 3-1 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Sergio Morris, who is a three-time All-Star, and swatted a home run to right. It was his 13th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jail Break ahead, 4-1.
"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Pagán told the Alcatraz Island Times. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
