Crop Circles Get One-Run Win at Havana
The Iowa Crop Circles defeated the Havana Comrades, 4-3, in Frontier action at The Ballpark at Habanos Stadium. Iowa pitcher Mitsuzuka Ishihara had a standout performance. David Hodge notched his 20th save in 24 chances. The win gives Iowa a season record of 54-48.

Iowa used the clutch hitting of Kyle Christopher to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Crop Circles the lead, 4-1. For the game, Christopher had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.

Christopher attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
