The Redstone Ridge Raptors took Reading pitcher Adrián Jiménez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at The Raptor's Nest. The final score had Redstone getting past the Railbirds, 4-2. Jiménez went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 3. Reading, with the loss, is still a hardy 9-3.

The decisive blow was delivered by Dale Pérez in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off former first round draft pick Felipe Estrada to win the game for Redstone. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Pérez said.
