Amarillo turned a good performance from starting pitcher Morgan Banks into a 4-1 triumph over the Crab Apple Cove Mashers at The Chicken Coop. Amarillo reliever Bill Roberts picked up the win, upping his record to 4-3. Kevin Underwood was saddled with the loss. Ryan Wheeler notched his 19th save of the season.

Amarillo took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and the bases loaded, John Brown hit a run-scoring single to make it 2-1, Chicken Haulers.

"I was seeing the ball well tonight," said Brown.

The Chicken Haulers improved to 50-52.
