Stephen Brooks, who is tied for 2nd in the AP with a 11.8 K/9 rate, propelled his team to victory over the Death Valley Burn. The final score was 10-5, Honolulu. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Honolulu.

The High Tide got a big hit from designated hitter Luis Becerra. Facing Death Valley pitcher Corbin Jenkins in the bottom of the eighth, Becerra pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the High Tide ahead, 10-1.

"We came out aggressive," said High Tide manager Mark Sambor. "We came out swinging the bats."
