The West Island Storm handed the San Jose Cuervo a sound defeat, 12-2, at Hot Box. Ken Wells, who is tied for 8th in the AP with a .497 slugging percentage, was a main contributor to the win. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 5 for West Island . The Storm raised their record to 39-63.

Keishi Koku had a big 2-run home run for the Storm in the bottom of the third inning. With West Island leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a sinker from Rafael Francisco, who finished 4th in the FR in ERA with 3.57 in 2065, and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Storm on top, 3-0.

San Jose manager summed up his team's performance in one word: "Pathetic."
