Amarillo Offense Sputters in 8-0 Loss

The Crab Apple Cove Mashers welcomed the Amarillo Chicken Haulers to an afternoon game at The Chicken Coop.
Getting an impressive start from Paco Ramírez, Crab Apple Cove beat Amarillo by the score of 8-0. Crab Apple Cove, at 68-36, is 10 games up in the Frontier Southern.
Ed Rebow had a big 2-run home run for the Mashers in the top of the first inning. With Crab Apple Cove leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from Bob Owen, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2062 draft, and punished it. The result was his 23rd home run of the season, which put the Mashers on top, 3-0.
Rebow called the win "a team effort."
