Good production from first baseman Gonzalo Gredillas helped the Iowa Crop Circles topple the West Island Storm, 6-5. Gredillas was 4-4 with a triple and 3 doubles. He scored 2 times for the Crop Circles. Mitsuzuka Ishihara, the winning pitcher, is now 4-9. He went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits, while fanning 8 and walking 2. The last-place Crop Circles lifted their record to 47-61.

Víctor Martínez drove in one run for Iowa. The 24-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Tad Hughes. It was his 15th RBI of the season.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Gredillas.
