Revolution Sneak Past Cheesesteaks, 2-1
|
The Boston Revolution got a stellar performance from pitcher António Olivo, who handcuffed the Philadelphia offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Jackie Robinson Place. Philadelphia drops to 1-1.
Bryant MacInnes was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Revolution left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Runs were at a premium," said Boston manager Dave Barn.
