Collins Dazzles in 3-0 West Island Win
|
In a well-pitched game between the West Island Storm and the Washington Monuments, pitcher Ron Collins was fantastic. The West Island right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. The win brings the Storm to 4-7, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.
Collins gave West Island a blue-ribbon performance. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.
"Ron is good at sticking to his strengths," said West Island manager Slam Dunks BabySitting a Team.
