Getting a good performance from left fielder Roberto Clemente, the Reading Railbirds defeated the Mexico City Diablos, 15-4. Clemente slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 8 runs and scored three times for the Railbirds. The Diablos, now 3-8, continue their slow start.

With Reading leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Clemente hit a sinker from Troy Smith for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Railbirds ahead, 3-0.

"We're not really clicking on anything right now," said Mexico City manager .
