Fans watched the Vermont Lake Monsters and the Keg Creek Coyotes fight to the finish.

The Vermont Lake Monsters picked up a win at Coyote Den Stadium, taking down the Keg Creek Coyotes, 5-4. Starting pitcher Shojiro Ageda was a big reason why. Iván Ruíz closed the game out for Vermont, earning his 27th save.

Joe Ward made it 5-4 in favor of Vermont when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Lake Monsters went on to win.

"Good win for our guys," said Ageda.

The Lake Monsters have an impressive 70-40 record.
