Militia Rally For Late Win Over Maulers
The Michigan Militia got a strong performance from pitcher Mathew Rhodes, who stymied the Minneapolis offense en route to a win, 4-2, at MacLaren Stadium. Michigan pitcher Juan Solís got the win. He's now 5-5. Greg Douglas was tagged with the loss. After today's action, Michigan sits at 56-54, while Minneapolis falls to 27-83.

Michigan used the timely hitting of Richard Stanley to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Militia on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Stanley said.
