A 4-RBI performance from center fielder Tex Scott, who is tied for 7th in the AP in triples with 7, led the Michigan Militia to a win over the Cape Canaveral Launch, 10-7. Juan Solís recorded his 28th save for Michigan. Michigan is now 57-53, Cape Canaveral 56-54.

Michigan used the timely hitting of Tom Brown to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Militia on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Brown.
