The Mexico City Diablos took Boston pitcher António Olivo's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Corona Field. The final score had Mexico City getting past the Revolution, 3-2. Olivo went 5 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 6. Mexico City, at 52-62, holds down 4th place in the Frontier Southern.

Alberto Cruz was the walk-off hero for Mexico City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Diablos catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

After the game, Mexico City manager Terry Farrand applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
